Fta Receiver Firmware Update

 Posted admin
I have been using this for a little over a month now. I am really impressed with what you get for the price! (I paid $59.90) You have many of the same things you would find on a smart TV, like YouTube, games, and other Internet based entertainment. The best thing for me is it is a fta satellite receiver and performs that job very well! There are tons of documents and videos on fta satellite included on a CD that comes with the receiver. The only drawback I have found are the instructions for the receiver itself are very vague and there isn't much help with how to use it! The have detailed manuals included on about everything else dealing with fta satellite, but if you didn't even read the manual for operating the receiver, you wouldn't be missing much. I have mainly learned about how to use the receiver by experimenting. Granted, it isn't rocket science, but there are a few things that would be really nice to know if they would simply explain how to do it. It may take you a few hours of experimenting, but you will eventually figure it out. The receiver itself is great though. It's well worth what you pay for it and does a great job pulling in all those channels on my motorized dish. I will definitely buy another when or if this one fails.
** UPDATE **
This item has went from $59.90 to $119.90 in 4 months! You can rest assured that they were making good money when it was $59.90, but to double the price in 4 months time is ridiculous! Big time case of greed destroying an otherwise good buy. Consumer reporting agencies do take into account the price of the items they review. It is a factor! Based on them doubling the price in 4 months time and still having a lot of trouble with programming certain things like your favorite list I have lowered my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. It's just an average receiver now. I will look into GEOsat for my next receiver.
